Working draft. Not yet reviewed by an Australian lawyer. Published so you can see how the platform intends to handle your information.

What we collect

Your name, email, phone and address; what your property is like and what you want cleaned; your bookings, payments and reviews. From cleaners and companies we also collect the details the law requires us to hold — including business number, date of birth and bank details for payment.

Why we collect it

To match you with a provider who can actually do the job, to run the booking and the payment, and to meet obligations we have under Australian law — including reporting provider earnings to the tax office.

Who sees it

The provider you book sees what they need to do the job. Companies see their own staff and their own clients. Your preferences and blocks are private: the other side is never told about them — a blocked provider simply stops appearing as an option.

Where your information goes

The system is being built and tested on a server located in Brazil. While that is the case, only synthetic test data is used there — no real personal information of Australian residents is stored on it. Production will run on hosting in Australia.

Sensitive information

Please do not enter sensitive information you were not asked for. What the system does need and treats as sensitive — such as property access instructions — is encrypted at rest and shown only to the assigned cleaner, only within the window of the booking, with every access recorded.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can see and correct your details from your account at any time. If something cannot be changed on screen, ask through the help area and we will correct it.

If something goes wrong

If we suspect a data breach we assess it promptly — within 30 days at the outside — and, where it is likely to cause serious harm, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Complaints

Raise a privacy complaint through the help area in your account. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
